felspar architecture is a Raleigh, North Carolina based architectural practice. felspar embodies 23 years of expert experience in the architecture and environmental design profession. Founding architect, Jason Dail AIA, began his career under the wing of legendary landscape architect, Richard C. Bell FASLA in 2002. Since then, Jason has had the privilege of working, and collaborating with some of North Carolina’s brightest architects, engineers, design experts, building scientists, and multidisciplinary research teams.
felspar specializes in human centric projects, where the experience of the space has a critical impact on it’s user. A primary subject in our work is Trauma Informed Psychologically Supportive Spaces (TIPSS). We are used to the question of “what is that?” TIPSS is an approach to design which can be applied to any project, commercial or residential. Our approach considers the deepest and most specific needs of our client as a whole person, or the public as a connected community. WE BUILD CONNECTEDNESS.

We believe that every space should tell a story and foster connection—whether between people, nature, or the surrounding community. Our approach is rooted in a respect for both timeless traditions and modern innovations, creating designs that are both grounded and visionary.
My name is Jason Dail, and I am the principal architect and founder of felspar. It is this simple yet profound intent that I bring to every project. Our goal is to create architecture that not only serves a function but elevates the lives of those who experience it—spaces that inspire, endure, and fulfill the needs of today while anticipating the possibilities of tomorrow.
